Cruising from Helsinki to Tallinn || How to have a successful prayer life|| Part 1

Why our prayers are not answered

Luke 9:23 and he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.’’

Christianity does not limit in believing in Christ, but yet in putting in practice His teachings.
Talking about prayer, as I have wrote in one of my post earlier,
Prayer is a conversation between us and God. We all have deferent problems, requests and desires. In prayers we talk to God as a Father, who loves sinner, but yet hates sins. It's written in the book of Proverbs 15:8 the sacrifice of the wicked (sinners) is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is acceptable to Him (Note: prayer is also a sacrifice Psalm 141:2)

If you are a believer and a follower of Christ, you pray, but without response from God, these may be reason why your requests are not responded…
The first reason of our prayers not being responded is usually that, we call ourselves Christians, but we are not in communion with Christ. We want to be blessed but we don’t want to pay the price of carrying our cross.
Jesus said in John 15:7 if you remain in me and my words remain in you ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
If you want to have a successful prayer life; you have to first have a good relationship with God through Jesus Christ by accepting Him as your Lord and saviour. Secondly you have to live a sanctification life by following and respecting the teachings of Jesus Christ. It's simple as that.
In real life we ask things from people we know, from people we are in good relation with. Why then asking God if you know that you are not living a sanctification life. Don’t except Him to answer your prayers if you consciously know that you are living a sinful life. God is love as we love to say, and He’s always ready to receive these who decide to come back to Him. That’s why if we are living in sins, but however we feel like coming back to Him, then we shouldn’t ask about anything else than just the forgiveness and mercy of God upon our sins. As it’s written in the book of 1 John 1:9 ‘’If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.’’
Now the Question is here, you are asking God for blessing, but are you doing the things He's asking you to do? If yes glory be to God. If not, may God help you doing He's will in the name of Jesus, amen!
Some of us may say, ‘’I do the will of God, but yet my prayers are not answered.’’ Don’t worry just stay tuned for part 2. There’s few reasons left.

Oh btw if your are still reading, the pictures above are from the boat trip I went with my cousins and their friend. We had lots of fun in the boat and in Tallinn.

Be blessed and thank you for stopping by!
